Episode: Christmas Vacation (Season 2 Episode 21)
For the only Christmas episode this year, James and Mariya watched an Olaf short, then realized it was too short of a short and watched Phinease and Ferb instead. The hosts talk about the music and argue about whether James hates Phineas and Ferb or not. They discussed the comic consistency and the similarities between it and Hey! Arnold’s. Also Baljit’s kiss was very very well animated. James explains HBO to all of us and Disny suck for canceling the Duck Tales reboot.

Mariya finds the episode confusing. The two talk about the weird proportions in the show and the bizarre fictional world. They also talk about the complicated cinematography of the show. They talk about how fluid the animation is for its time. The two discussed the cinematography of the show and the some of the problems with the color palette. In news, there is a new Spongebob movie. Episode: School Town Follies & Some of the Dark Lantern (Season 1 Episode 3 &4)
Another tradition for Ominous October, James and Mariya watch Over The Garden Wall, an unsettling yet adorable mini-series. The two talk about the dreamlike logic of a lot of the show. They discuss the several plots in the one episode and the subversive nature of the plots. James thinks the highwayman is creepy. Mariya theinks he’s one of a kind. In news, the hosts talk about Disney’s new release and the theory that Else is in the movie.

They compare the episode with last year’s spooky episode They talk about the character designs and how they are “ergonomic”. The hosts end by discussing the higher quality of the backgrounds. In news, the two discussed Disney’s experiment with the Mulan remake and paywalls. Also Soul is coming to Disney+. Also also, there’s a new show by the Castlevania creators, and it’s about greek mythologies.

For Sucky September, James and Mariya pull from the floor gunk of the barrel they usually pick shows from. The hosts spend some time lamenting the show and comparing it to the spin-off which was objectively better. They tried to make sense of Sinon’s costume and failed because anime outfits make no sense. The two discussed some of the animation flaws that could have been fixed with smarter decisions. In news, the two talked about a new frozen short and whether or not it’s going to be a tradition to watch it.
